Abstract Background Regular physical activity is associated with physiological and mental health benefits for adolescents including improved fitness cardiometabolic health, increased muscle bone strength reduced risk of obesity. Despite this, globally, many (81%) fail to meet guidelines. Physical levels decline as children move into adolescence through adulthood may affect the likelihood developing chronic conditions. It recognised that parental support friendship networks play an important role in attenuating declines during it vital we develop effective interventions help stay active. Aim This symposium will engage policymakers, professionals, scientists stakeholders discuss research projects on Engaging peers, parents pupils increase among adolescents.
